Grace Harbor Acoustic Guitars – One Year Limited Warranty

Grace Harbor Guitars are covered by a one-year limited warranty. Provided that the instrument was purchased from an authorized Grace Harbor Guitars dealer, the exclusive Grace Harbor distributor in each country warrants it against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from date of purchase to the original buyer or for a period mandated by the country’s government. This warranty is not transferable.
With good care and routine preventative maintenance by a qualified luthier/repairman, these instruments will provide many years of pleasure. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, mishandling, or negligence in use, maintenance, or storage to either the instrument or the case.
DBG or the distributor is the sole judge as to the misuse or abuse of the product. Should warranty coverage be allowed, the distributor will make the decision to repair or replace at its sole discretion. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or accidental damage. Frets, strings, nut, fingerboard, tuning machines, output jack, and finish can wear out with normal use. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced without charge if the product is returned to a Grace Harbor Guitars Authorized Service Center, or the distributor, and only if the procedures in this warranty are followed completely.

Warranty repair is defined as the restoration of the instrument to a condition that it functions properly. PLEASE CONTACT THE DEALER WHERE YOU PURCHASED THE INSTRUMENTS BEFORE RETURNING THE PRODUCT TO THE DISTRIBUTOR FOR REPAIRS. Many problems can be resolved by the dealer in person, in email, or on the phone. Products sent directly to the distributor require an advance Return Authorization (RA) number from the distributor. This number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping box. Shipments sent without an RA number may be refused. Make certain to include a copy of the bill of sale (mandatory) and a detailed description of the problem along with complete contact information.

Product MUST be returned securely and safely packed in a suitable shipping container. Transportation and insurance charges involved in warranty service are the sole responsibility of the owner. Grace Harbor Guitars assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages that may result from the failure of this product. Any warranties implied by law are limited to the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation on incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state, country to country.

NOTE ON CRACKED INSTRUMENTS:  All Grace Harbor Instruments are shipped free of wood cracks and splits and have been in our warehouse in a consistent 40-60% Relative Humidity.  It is very important that adequate humidity is maintained at the dealers and by the end consumer.  The wood is like a sponge and will shrink and may crack in dry environments.  Please maintain the humidity levels above 40%– wood cracking or splitting is not a warranty/actionable item.
